Short notes

1. Although still in CNY mood, other things should be given priorities instead of relaxing too much.
2. The end still far away from me, I still can chase what I want.
3. I'm still young, indeed. I believe I can fly, one day.
4. Yes, I'm better than yesterday.
5. Wake up in the morning is not so difficult, but after wake up doing something really meaningful is an option.

laptop don't die

Recently always got weird experience about my laptop.
I know it already 4 years old, but i hope it can survive until I graduate.
The problem today is:
The speaker of laptop no sound, but got sound when listen through earphone.

I plan to call DELL customer service at first, but my handphone left not much credit.
I tried to go setting in control panel, nothing special, all normal.
I tried to do system restore still useless.
Ok, I google.

This is what i got:
HP laptop speaker no sound: but can hear through headset

...The headphone input jack is stuck, there is a small switch inside the jack which shuts off the speakers when headphones are plugged in. When the headphones are pulled out, the speakers turn on again.....

...Rather than bringing my computer to get fixed, I just took a pair of headphones and inserted them into the jack repeatedly, at different speeds. Mostly what worked was putting it in and pulling it out rather quickly. have a song playing looped while you do it so that you can tell if it worked or not. It will take some time and patience...
 

Although my laptop is not HP brand, but it is useful!

English

Erm, I should write more in English.
Actually I tried to read English news everyday but the internet connection in my room is not really stable.
I have to and I must improve my English writing skill.
If just conversation, I'm ok when speaking in English and I can communicate even with foreigner in English.
However, when I need to write in English I found that I can't write well.
I took more than 10 minutes just now when trying to email a professor (actually only one paragraph!)
Ahhh...
I really have to work harder...

Running

Back from a short vacation in Singapore. Feel great and tired too. My body is not as young as my age, perhaps. Felt quite easy tired in this vacation. Although we walk much than usual, still shouldn't be as tired as now. I think is time to make some excercise to make my body stronger.


I'm enjoying this trip and having a rest and free from those works. Countdown in Singapore is better than countdown in Sungai Wang 4 years ago. It is indeed crowded but at least all of us are able to move freely. Unlike Sungai Wang, we were like sardine between a sandwich.


Many funny things happened in this trip, include we were at the wrong direction when watching the fireworks during countdown to 2010!!! The view was blocked by some buildings but we thought we were at the correct position! However, we follow the crowd run to the other street and continue watching the fireworks. That means we were running during the first 2 minutes of year 2010! XD Thanks to my 4 friends who went to Singapore with me, you guys are great companions and I'm so happy in this trip. I'm also missing my 3 old friends although we just met yesterday because it's hard to meet each others nowadays.


Then, back to reality to continue working after a happy journey is really suffering. Time won't wait me and I should wake up.
